statement of intent

Advert 1

 In the advert I will use a healthy drink get more vitamins  with the slogan "the power of fruits"  the adverts will show a alternative drink to study than coffee that is healthier

the advert will be 45- 60 seconds in length aimed at teenagers who study at home school or library but they drink caffeinated drink which is unhealthy due to the amount of sugar so our drink will have zero  sugar but provides the same level of concentration  we will use an array of camera angles like over the shoulder shot close up and extreme close up  like a pack shot 

the settings will be at home at a library and in a classroom the costume would be school clothes and normal at home clothes the actor will be a family member the prop will be the drink itself along with stationary and books the sound will be a narration and some background music 

the advert will represent young people who are studying for exams but who are drinking caffeinated sugary drinks who need a healthier alternative  this advert is relatable for every race and gender who are doing exams. our advert promotes a healthy lifestyle as it is a fruit drink and is a healthier alternative than coffee the advert will subvert stereotypes of young people as they are seen to be lazy and unhealthy 

the demographic for the advert is young student who want a healthier alternative drink than coffee whilst studying

the psychographic is the reformer as this is a form of self improvement as they are becoming healthier       

Blumer and Katz theory of  uses and gratifications theory as this is education/ information as we are educating the audience and informing them of a healthy alternative to sugar filled caffeinated drinks 

in conclusion my advert was created to deter young people becoming addicted to caffeinated drinks and stop them drinking it while studying and drink our drink instead which is healthier and provides the same benefits as coffee  



Advert 2 

In the second advert I will use the drink "get more vitamins"  I will use the slogan "the power of fruits"  the advert will show a healthier alternative for a drink rather than energy drinks   

the advert will be 45 - 60 seconds in length aimed at 15-25 year olds who are regularly  playing sport and want to keep a healthy diet when playing their sport as sports drink tend to have a lot of sugar so our drink will have zero sugar whilst also providing the required amount of energy for their sports 

we will use an array of camera shots like ; establishing shot , pack shot , close up and an over the shoulder shot 

The setting will be in a sports venue like an open field or a small gym . The clothes will be sports clothes like shorts t shirt and trainers . The actor will be a family member or friend. The prop will be the drink itself any any equipment necessary for the sport . The sound will be some background music .

the advert will represent those who are living a healthy lifestyle but don't have a good diet and want a positive change the advert can also inspire those who want to make a positive change but cant find a healthy drink to drink 

This advert subverts common stereotypes that young people are unhealthy and lazy an don't have the desire to become healthier 

the demographic is for any income but might be more suited for the working class as it is cheaper it is also for any gender and the age 15-25 

the psychographic is the reformer as this is a form of self improvement as they are becoming healthier

in conclusion my advert was created to deter young people to drink sugar filled drink  and stop them drinking it while playing sports  and drink our drink instead which is healthier and provides the same benefits as drinks like Lucozade
