 Costume:The character at the start is wearing a white lab coat. This suggests to the audience that he is potentially working on a experiment 


Lighting: it is a very low key lighting which has connotations of a horror show and creates suspense 

Setting: it is set in a dark lab which reinforces the idea of a horror / sci fi show

Props: the prop of the board game suggest a pre internet date

Actor placement/movement/expression: the expression of the man in the lab coat was petrified
