 i think they are passive listeners as not everyone can engage with them at the same time also some of there listeners are listening whilst driving so they can only listen to it and not actively engage in the conversations

in the modern day people can access the radio via there phone and in there car but in the 1960s they would have to be plugged in  also in the 1960s the radio was the main source of entertainment but now it is mostly just background noise 

9) How does the KISS FM Breakfast show contrast with Tony Blackburn's 1967 Radio 1 Breakfast show and the launch of BBC Radio 1? there are now 2 presenters as opposed to 1 so there is more friendly chat also the use of social media means they can see behind the scenes and have a stronger relationship with the presenters

10) Use Stuart Hall's Reception theory to offer a preferred and oppositional reading of the KISS FM Breakfast show. For the preferred reading, why do fans love the show? On the oppositional side, why might someone criticise the show or not want to listen?

they might like the music and the chat between presenters
