Demographics and Psychographics

1) What information do media companies use to create a demographic profile of their audience?                                              age, gender ,income and clas s 2) Why are media companies and advertisers increasingly using audience profiling and not just demographics? so they feel that they are talking directly to you and they can relate to you so your more likely to buy there products 3) What psychographic group or groups do  YOU  belong in?
